Washington, DC – An airport customer service motivational video written, directed and produced by Interactive Dynamics for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) has been honored with a 2010 Videographer Award.
Interactive Dynamics, a customer service training and consulting expert, developed the 11-minute customized video, “Going the Extra Mile,” for Washington Dulles International and Ronald Reagan Washington National airports. Working hand-in-hand with MWAA staff, Interactive Dynamics developed the video to promote customer service across all airport departments and airport community partners, including MWAA employees, airlines, concessions, parking, rental cars, service providers of all kinds, and U.S. Transportation Security Administration and Customs & Border Patrol employees. Interactive Dynamics partnered with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) on the project. AAAE provided technical services on the video production including camera operation, computer editing and duplication.
The customized video, completed in the first quarter of 2010, promotes customer service by covering themes such as displaying a sense of teamwork, ownership, courtesy and the fundamental premise of going above and beyond in providing assistance to all customers, both external and internal. Versions of the video are in use at Dulles and National. For a short, edited preview of the video, go to www.vimeo.com/12704320.
Both Washington Dulles and Reagan National are introducing the video to the airport-wide community through 90-minute workshops designed specifically for mid-level managers and supervisors. Interactive Dynamics has also been contracted to design and deliver these programs for both airports. The workshops began in June of 2010 and continue at both airports.
“We pride ourselves at Interactive Dynamics on producing extremely customized products for our clients, whether that be employee workshops or videos. We don’t use off-the-shelf, canned programs. Instead we work aggressively with clients to learn their particular details, then custom design organization-specific programs that meet each client’s unique training needs,” said Interactive Dynamics President Dave Jeffrey.
